My week in review

Hello there! It's been another one of those weeks for me. Last Saturday I went to Britt's house to surprise her when she returned from her vacation by cleaning her house. She left the day after Jack's party and I went to tidy up for her so she wouldn't have to do it when she got home. I also made her a pot of spaghetti sauce and meatballs. ☺ Later that day Britt called to tell me that her flight home was Saturday morning not Sunday. They missed their flight and wouldn't be flying home until Tuesday. Brittainy is the epitome of Murphy's Law!

Tuesday I had to take Tim to the dentist, pick up my mother and get home to have a corn beef and cabbage dinner with Britt, Jay, the kids also joining us. They came right from the airport to my house.

Rich FINALLY went to the doctor's on Tuesday and he told me that he has bronchial pneumonia. I called the doctor back on Thursday to tell them that Tim wasn't getting better and I brought him back in on Friday and he has bronchitis.

Oh, and I had report cards to write this week that went home on Friday. I don't know where I found the time to get everything done.

I did treat myself yesterday. Twilight was released on DVD and I bought it and watched it.
To top off my week, a piece of my front tooth fell off yesterday. I just happened to rub my tounge across it and it broke. I wasn't even eating anything!

I still have an assignment for the class I am taking due tonight by midnight (online) that I am not done with yet. Then I get to start all over again next week with a new assignment.

If you have read this far thanks! I've missed my blogging friends this week. I think we all need to make a coffee (or tea) date and get together and just talk! :)

take care,
Dawn

With your load so heavy, you still cleaned your daughter's house and made her a meal! Would you please consider adopting me?

I'm so sorry to hear that your guys are ill; I hope that the medicine they're taking works quickly.

Now, go finish your assignment!

Oh my goodness Dawn...I'm exhausted having read about your week...can't imagine what it was like actually living it!

I hope your boys are feeling much better by now!!! And I truly hope that this week is much easier on you!

Hi Dawn. I wish I lived closer I would run right over and clean your house and make your family a meal. You sound like a wonderful wife and mother. So sorry about your tooth. I know that sinking feeling you get in your stomach when that happens all too well. It happened to me at work one time and for the rest of the day I couldnt smile at costomers. I could tell they thought I was mean. I was a wreck. I hope you got your paper in on time. Darrell

Hi Dawn,
Sorry to hear that you have had so much on you. The exact thing happened to one of my teeth...just out of nowhere it broke off. Luckily I was able to get to a dentist the same day.

I was worried about you when I saw that you haven't posted since the 13th...glad you are back, and I hope things settle down for you!

Dawn, your week is a train wreck including Britt's family missing their flight. But all's well that ends well. I hope the sickies are feeling better.

Wouldn't it be great to meet for some coffee and just chat. We cn dream.

I glad you liked my post it was fun but tiring. That is the most effort I have put forth since my surgery. Bill helped me clean the deck. It hadn't been touched all winter. I did get the flowers by myself and the grass across the street was knee high. The owners are very old and the wife died. I think he just is too sad to come without her. The house is in ill repair as well. How sad.

I better visit the pinkies now as I didn't get it done yesterday.

Hugs...Jeanne

Dawn you've had a quite the week. Just hang in their girl and do one day at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. I've just been spending time in the dentist for a broken crown, so you aren't the only one with dental woes!

Good Morning Dawn!
It's sooo good to "see" you. You've been missed my friend.
It sounds like it was one of those weeks that just pull you in all directions. Pfew! I'm glad Rich finally got the to the doc and although it wasn't good news, at least the doc saw him and hopefullly got him on meds quick! Poor Tim. Hugs to him. Poor Brittainy. Missing planes is not fun!
I'm so happy to know you managed to find time in there for YOU. That's so important.
Please know I am sending lots of "get well & stay healthy" vibes Rich's and Tim's way. C'mon fellas! Get better!
Hugs!

Oh dear...I did read to the end and I was getting a little bit anxious by the time I got there. You had such a busy week..so many things going on and not going so well. But I sure hope Rich is feeling better and that you'll get your tooth fixed that will be a big start.
That was so sweet of you to do all of that for Brittany..*hugs*. what a lovely mom you are.

I hope you get caught up and get a chance for looking after you Dawn.
have a lovely evening..maybe you are watching Dancing with the Stars...or maybe doing your online work..

Good morning Dawn. I hope things are improving in your household. I just re-read your post and forgot to mention how awful it is to chip a tooth. I was waking with Bill one day and tripped on a raised bit of sidewalk. I broke two teeth. I know just how you felt. lol.

Have a better day...Hugs...Jeanne

Good morning Dawn, thinking of you today. I don't know if Beverly spoke to you yet but her mom fell and has a serious shoulder injury. She is home today. I hope things are better in your house today and at work. I miss your posts but totally understand you needing a break. Take care.

Hugs...Jeanne
