The sickness is in full force!

What is it about a man that is sick??? Rich has been moaning and groaning for days now because he's not feeling well. I finally broke down last night and told him that whatever he is doing to make himself feel better isn't working. He needs to call the doctor! He acts like he is the only man that has ever been sick and nothing I have gone through can compare!

Tim is also sick but his moaning and groaning is minimal. He's been home for two days now and I stayed home from school to stay with Tim so Rich could go to the doctors.

I want to strip the beds and air my house out!!! I can't wait for both of them to feel better.

Tell me that I am not the only one that has to suffer when their DH is sick!

take care,
Dawn

LOL Dawn--my heart goes out to your guys and to you! Women are definitely much more stoic when it comes to being sick and men do feel like the world is coming to an end!

I'm sorry, Dawn! But actually this does make me laugh a bit. You definitely are NOT alone! Luckily, my Rich doesn't get sick very often, and when he does, he tries not to be a big baby about it. Honestly, I can tell he's trying, but he just can't help himself!

I sure hope both your fellas are feeling much better very, very soon! And don't you even think about catching whatever they've got!

The problem is we mother our sons and that is who becomes someone's DH--a spoiled, pampered big boy!

Yep, when my hubby gets sick you would think he is going to die! Hope they get well soon for your sake!

Oh Dawn, Lord have mercy on the woman in the house who has to listen to a sick dh. When I first came home from knee replacement Bill had a 24 hour bug. He moaned about it for a week. He was only afflicted 24 hours. LOL. If my cousin Bob wasn't here to take care of me I would have starved to death. Men are the biggest babies on this earth. I think it's because they don't have babies and do not know real pain. So much for what I think, they will never change. BIG LAUGH!

Good luck with the sick and don't catch it please.

Hugs...Jeanne

Hi Dawn.....I do hope the men in your life are better soon. I have what is called a mans man. All the manly stuff like chopping wood and playing hard till hes a dirty mess and all sweaty kind of man that all his men friends want to be like. Just let him get sick. He turns into such a sissy....."come sit by me" as hes laying on the couch. Funny story... I used to get migrains real bad and cant take anything for the pain so I use black tea to at least take the edge off. Well after you suffer for hours you sometimes need someone to get you some tea. I had to call him at work on day and told him that if he didnt come home and make me some tea,( we own our own business and its only a few miles) that I was going to check into a hotel with room service. He was home in 10 minuites. Hope that made you laugh. Darrell

Hi Dawn, this is so funny! You could have talking about Mr. Precious! Men are called Menbabies when they get sick. Just don't let either of our guys breath on you.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh yes, we all know just what you mean.

I hope your babies are better soon - the big baby and the younger baby.

Hi Dawn,
Men do make terrible patients. Guess they just don't like to be cooped up inside...really cramps their style!

Hope everyone gets better, and hope u stay well!

Men are the BIGGEST babies when it comes to sickness. Of course "we" can continue to be mom and wife regardless of whether or not we are sick. I tell you, sometimes I just have to drown out the whines and remind him to "suck it up"...lol!
I hope your "boys" feel better very soon.
Hugs!

I agree with Smiling Sal, their mother's spoiled them, then we inherit them! I spend a month "teaching" my hubby, then one weekend trip to MIL's house sets me back a whole year! Funny, she didn't baby her husband the way she babies her sons!

Aww I'm sorry!!! I hope everyone is recovering now!

My DH sleeps it off usually...lucky him...I don't EVER get to just go to bed for the day like he does!

Hope your days are getting healthier!!!
