I am happy to say that just yesterday I sent in my last assignment for the class I was taking. I am DONE! I am sorry for being so negligent in my blogging but I needed to do my best for the class! I’m also a bit of an overachiever so I did some extra work LOL!

Now that the class is done I can get back to some of the normal things that I have neglected (like cleaning my computer room), and of course blogging. I don’t know where to begin. I think I am going to have to make a list so I don’t forget everything I want to share.

I’m going to start with the newest member of our extended family. Last month my daughter, Brittainy, adopted a dog from Adopt a pet. His name is Joey and he’s about a year old. Actually, Britt said that they think he was born the beginning of March last year, just a couple of days after Jack was born. He is really good with the kids and they love him. I think the biggest drawback is that Britt’s husband’s name is Jay, Jack is my grandson and Joey is the dog. Britt’s always calling them all the wrong name LOL! I’ve been looking on Adopt a pet as well and I have to keep myself away from looking because we can’t get one until school ends. I did see one the other day that I would like to have. I called Britt to tell her about the dog. His name was Jacob. I think Britt would be awful mad if I added another J name to the mix.

I will try to do my best to start visiting you all again. It’s been nice having you all check in with me. I have just been a bit overwhelmed. My next course is only a week long in August. I should be able to handle a weeks worth of work.

Take care,
Dawn

Hallelujah! I knew you were out there somewhere.

So, are you Joey grandmother, too?

Awww...Joey is soooo cute!

So glad to hear from you, Dawn!!! I've been wanting to e-mail you for weeks to make sure all was well, but I figured the last thing you needed if you were so swamped with responsibilities (which is what I figured was up) was to have to respond to e-mail. Hope things truly do slow down for you soon! I've missed you so much!

Hi Dawn,
So glad you got the class behind you. I remember how much work and how busy grad school was. Blogging was not part of my vocabulary back then. LOL

Joey is a cutie!

Been missing ya,
Diane

You won't be sorry if you add a dog to your family! They are so loving and fun, it will be worth any extra time and expense!
Joey is adorable, and so lucky to have a good home!

Hey Stranger! So good to "see" you. yay that you're done with that class. I know you did great!

Hooray, my Dawn is back. I know your class was overwhelming and I know you did a terrific job. You wouldn't be Dawn if you didn't.

Joey is so cute and he had to have a 'J' name. I bet Tim loves him too. School must be out soon. I am blown away that a whole year has passed since I started blogging.

I'm surprised so many people do not know what a striker is. They are rare now. I should try to sell them I guess.

Im so happy you are not tied up with classes and teaching. I know it must be a big relief.

Hugs...Jeanne
