OH NO!!!

I accidently posted this last night by mistake. OOOPS!

Do you remember my post in December about this sewing machine dear hubby got me for Christmas?

About a week and a half ago my daughter came over with something she wanted me to sew. While I was sewing the needle broke, the fabric got caught and the bobbin popped out. I couldn't get it to work again. I called JoAnn Fabrics yesterday and they are going to replace it for me today. I have a doctor's appointment in the morning and then I'll bring it in for a trade. I am so excited that they are going to do that!!! Keep your fingers crossed that this one lasts much longer :)

I have some sewing that I would like to do and want a machine that will work.

take care,

Good luck at the doctor - I expect a full report. ;-)

And, good riddance to the defective machine. May the replacement reign supreme.

I do hope that machine just had a flaw and that your new replacement will last many, many years.

I hope all is well at your Doctor's appointment.

There's nothing better than a Singer; you must have stumbled upon a lemon.

Hi Dawn, what a bummer! I am sue they will give you a good one. Be careful with thick material on a portable. They are not a heavy duty machine in general. Invest in some heavy duty needles at least.

Good luck my friend. I sewed on a portable for years until my neighbor borrowed it to make drapes. It was never the same after that.

Have a great day. Where's my boob cookie? :)
