What a beautiful spring day!!

Oh, it just beautiful outside. The temp is 64º but it feels warmer. It is hard to stay inside. Today I have been trying to take care of some "outdoor" jobs. I pay the lawn company to come and take care of my lawn (fertilizing, weed control etc.) and this time of the year it just looks so lovely! As soon as the heat comes this way without fail my lawn burns even though I water it. I bought a new sprinkler today and I am having the hardest time adjusting the spray to get water to the entire yard. Rich gets upset because it hits the house and I get upset because it doesn't get all of the lawn. My neighbors must think I am crazy running back and fort to adjust the spray! Ideally I would just like a sprinkler system put in but I don't want to pay the money to do it!
take care,
Dawn

Holy cow, Dawn. Two consecutive days!!! What are you trying to do to me?

Your lawn looks beautiful. What kind of trees are those?

Personally, I would like to see you running around chasing the sprinkler.

It's 77 degrees here right now.

Hey...send some of that warm weather our way! It was only 52 degrees here, and tomorrow it's only supposed to be 48! :(
But I'm glad you're enjoying your weather, and Beverly's right, you're yard looks lovely!

Hi Dawn, what a beautiful lawn. We used to keep our lawn so pretty pre-mountain life. Now we just mow it and love the crazy wild flowers that pop up at any given time. We have 1 & 1/3 acres, all down hill.

Good luck with your sprinkler project.

1st- dont forget to move your lilacs from your well fertilized lawn so they might bloom someday.

2nd- jay just tranfered to irrigation and maybe he can get you a good deal, i'll ask.

3rd- number two just reminded me that i asked john about making plans for your basement and he said he will do it for cheap.

4th- no big deal when you blog two more times and forget (again!), to mention the breathtaking and unique goldfish plant that your oldest (and bestest) child and mother of our only grandchildren gave you for mothers day.
i expect to see a full blog about only that by tomorrow.
