20 Little Things to Treasure in Autumn

Frame from Pink Peacock designs
I've noticed that a few blogging friends have been posting their twenty favorite things about fall. I thought I would play along as well. This is being hosted by Melissa at The Inspired Room. This is a picture that I took in my back yard two years ago. I thought it would be an appropriate picture for this post.
Here are my 20 Little Things to Treasure in Autumn
1. The smell of fall air!
2. Pumpkin pie
3. Apple pie
4. Apple crisp
5. Crock pot soups
6. Thanksgiving
7. Mums
8. Cornstalks
9. Scarecrows
10. The smell of cinnamon
11. Sweaters
12. My hand knit socks
13. Halloween
14. Hot apple cider
15. New season of T.V. shows
16. Sneaking some Christmas music into my days!
17. Pumpkins
18. Hot coffee (sometimes sprinkled with cinnamon
19. Beef Stew (homemade of course)
20. Logs burring in the fire place
I could go on and on, but I'll keep to the twenty!
take care,

Happy Fall Dawn! :o) My own list would follow much like yours...Except for the beef stew...eating mostly vegetarian, I'll hold on the beef--LOL! ;o) Not sure I'm ready yet for Christmas music...But am making a Christmas gifts-to-make list this week and thinking ahead. Last night I made us apple crumble for a sweet dessert...mmm...can't wait for some pumpkin pie now! Happy Days, my friend ((HUGS))

Dawn, I love your list. Your photo of your backyard looks like a feature in a magazine of fall. I love the way you use the computer to enhance your photos. I so do not know how to do that. sigh. I am ready to start cooking in my crock pot. Nice hot meals that make the house smell good all day. Mmmmmm.

Your photo from last year shows such beautiful mums. I hope you get some this year.

Those TV shows are back! Hooray! I watched Dancing With the Stars last night. Yipee! It's on tonight too.
