Oh, woe is me!

Sorry I have been missing for a couple of days. I woke up late Saturday night (early Sun am) so sick!!! I spent all day Sunday sleeping and resting and stayed home from school yesterday. I felt much better by the end of the day. I talked to my friend who is the assitant in my room and she was telling me about the kids and teachers that were going home sick. I guess there is something going around. An elementary school in the winter is just a germ fest.

I did finish the second book in the Twilight series and am looking forward to the next book. I ordered the fourth yesterday so it will be in by the time I'm ready for it!! :) I am so addicted to this series of books.

take care,
Dawn

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear you've been feeling so lousy! Don't rush back to work today if you don't have to. Take care, Dawn, and may you be back to 110% very soon!

Morning, Dawnie. You know Jeanne did have a big headstart on you in years of friendship. How about she be 1A and you be one 1A.1?

I'm glad you're feeling better. Now wear a mask around all of those little germ factories.

Oh, you poor thing. Being around children is a sure flue attack. I hope you are feeling much better today.

I did come by yesterday and I don't think I left a comment. I can't think this morning because I haven't had any coffee. lol. We are on our way to have blood work done for my upcoming knee replacement and general health checkup. No food or coffee. sigh. I'll probably sleep all the way to the lab. HA!

Love... Jeanne

If you HAVE to be sick, there's nothing better to have on hand than a good book!

I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. I hope whatever is ailing you passes quickly. Lots of ~~get well & stay healthy~~ vibes coming your way.
I've read the entire Twilight Series. I wanted to see what the big fuss was all about, lol! I did enjoy them and thought book 3 to be much better then book 2. Let me know what you think.
Til then, drink plenty of fluids, stay warm and try and get some rest. I know it's tough.

Oh Dawn I don't know how anyone makes it through winter school days. It seems like something is ALWAYS going around at the school. Lexi usually has to sample it all...UGG! I do hope you get feeling better.

Yep, that book series is now my favorite! I thought the first half of the second book moved a little bit slowly, then the last half was back to "couldn't put it down". The next two are good all the way through!

Hi Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear how sick you've been, but I agree that elementary schools are just big germ incubators in the winter! I'm glad you're starting to feel better. Aren't you glad that if you had to have some sick days that you have the Twilight series for company? I was totally hooked on them and couldn't put them down either. It's so nice to be able to get so totally absorbed in a good book!

Feel better soon!

It is very hard to keep schools germ free and children don't know how to keep their hands as clean and probably sneeze all over each other etc etc. I can remember catching all sorts of things until my immunity built up, then I was not as sick as often. I still rarely get sick. Just under the weather sort of feelings but not really sick. Right now I am investigating why my ankles keep swelling and never really going down. Had a blood test work up on Monday. Getting an EKG on Thursday and seeing the doctor again this coming Monday. I am a little nervous and worried as to what may be going on with me. So it is wait and see for the time being. Oh and I am on the darn water pills too. Where's the bathroom????

Hey Dawn; You poor thing, I hope you are doing better. Seems that when kids start school some one is always sick, and it just goes in a huge circle. Take care...

Glad you are feeling better! We have had a lot of sickness at our school, too. Last week there was a day when 7 of my students were out sick! I only had 13 kids in my class!
