More Neck Warmers

Well with winter coming to an end (I hope!) I finally got around to adding the buttons to the neck warmer that I made for myself. I love this color...(though the picture doesn't do it justice). I made it to match the mittens I made for myself. Just a few days ago I reached into my coat pocket and took out my mitten to find that a pen had leaked in my pocket and the thumb has ink on it. I know, it's my own fault for leaving the pen in my pocket. Luckily, I have some yarn left over and I'll just rip the thumb out and knit it over again.

At Christmas time I made a blue neck warmer for my friend Ingrid. She liked it so much that she said she wished she had a black one too. Well flattery will get you everywhere so I made a black neck warmer for her.

OK, I love flattery, so when my friend Wendy said how much she would like one I made one for her as well. Wendy still needs to pick the buttons she wants and hers will be done.

take care,
Dawn

Oh, Dawn. I bow down to your majesty, your greatness, your talent, your charm, your brilliance and your beauty. These are just beautiful.

How was that? Enough flattery? And, the good part is that I really mean it.

Don't worry. I don't need a neck warmer. But, I can probably think of something else. I do feel I need to do my part to help you keep your creative genius flowing. ;-)

Oh darn, it's times like these when I wish I could knit. I know for sure it will never happen. You cracked me up when you said your would just knit another thumb. You are the best Dawn.

Have a wonderful day.

Love...Jeanne

How cute, what a neat idea. They would make great headbands, too! I just love beautiful stitching, that pattern is awesome.

Dawn!
those are great. While I don't think it gets cold enough here to actually have one, I know when I was sitting in the arena enjoying an LA Kings hockey game (only 3 rows from the ice) I would have appreciated one too. Boy it was cold in there!
Hope all is well. Enjoy your day!

How cool are those! I don't need one either since I'm in Florida. If I lived up north I would hit you up for one. Love the colors and buttons!

Love your neckwarmers. Lucky friends, so generous of you. Almost makes me want to pick up some knitting needles and make one. Will have to check to see if I could find that pattern.
