Some may think he is sucking up for that dog!

Thursday night Tim was in our room watching TV. I was working at the computer. He came to ask me to take a look at our room. He decided that he would organize shelves and closets for us.

Later that night he wrote this note to Rich and I and shared it with tears in his eyes. He is my very sensitive child!

In case you can't read it, here's what it says:

Dear,

Mother (mom) and father (Dad)

Thank you for bringing me into this world. I will return the favor by cleaning, making beds, setting the table, organizing and loving you. My ten years of life have been lovely.

Thank you so much.

Your son,

Timothy Allen

Rich read the note and said it must be true what they say about married people. After a while they start to look alike

How can I turn that boy down!!! He's melting my heart!

take care,
Dawn

What a wonderful young man God has blessed you with. I have a son like that too. Mine is much older, and he's still a heart-tugger.

I had to laugh at your husbands comment. Tim sounds like a great kid. Lets hope he keeps it up thru the terrible teens. Good Job as parents you two. Woof, Darrell

Ah, ah! Give that boy a dog!!!

And, be sure to hold on to that letter. You will be able to use it many times before he is grown.

(You and Rich are looking a little gaunt.) And, you might want to take a look at your eyebrows. ;-)

Hahaha, he does sound quite wonderful but YEP he is working on y'all!! It is amazing how our great kids turn into "perfect kids" when THEY want something. I predict a dog in the near future.....♥

Wow! He's good! You could get a lot of free labor out of him before summer comes! LOL!

OMGosh...I think I'd be giving that sweetheart a whole litter of pups! That is beyond priceless!!! Seriously, I've got real honest-to-goodness tears in my eyes here.

Now how could you say "no" to such a thoughtful young man? Think puppy, woof, woof, woof!

What a sweet note Dawn. I think he's got you right where he wants you-- it's going to be hard to turn him down--I agree with Darlene that there's a dog in your future! Your husband's comment about married couples looking alike is hilarious!

Hi Dawn
What a precious letter Tim has written to you. Thats so sweet. That'll be one to frame for sure. My mom still has one from me that I wrote when I was about Tim's age probably. I'm going to have to get a camera copy ot it.

Well Dawn...I think maybe you are going to have to get a puppy for that lovely son. Maybe you need to get a little contract set up in that regard....*g*... give him a tight hug!

have a lovely evening
Judi

This is so cute! I did have to laugh about the looking alike comment and the eyebrows thing. This note will be a treasure to you as your son grows up. I have a couple of notes from my kids that I find very special now.
