Rich was doing some work for a neighbor down the street last weekend and Tim walked down to help. The next thing I knew, Rich came in and asked if I wanted to get the camera. Tim was driving our neighbors tractor down the street. We live on a dead end road where there is NO traffic so that wasn't even a concern.
It seems that boys of all ages just loves these "toys". I guess anything with an engine makes a boy happy. Tim told me just yesterday that his "happy place" is on the dirt bike with dad. Oh, don't get me started on that. I am so nervous when he goes on that. I won't let Rich take him on the road. We have conservation land in our back yard with trails that they can ride. He doesn't need to be on the road. At least he isn't asking to ride the bike himself.
Dexter was in the house wondering what all the fuss was about.
take care,

Aaaah! I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Maybe we need to put a brick on his head to slow this a little bit.
He's your baby. ♥
adorable photos of Tim and the pup!:) Diane
He is getting so BIG!! I bet he enjoyed driving that tractor. Lexi loves to drive our riding lawnmower. She will get on it and ride and ride!

I love this Dawn. When we lived on the farm, my cousin drove his dad's tractor when he was 8 years old. Too young in my opinion but farming requires every hand you can get. You learn responsibility very young. We had a 300 acre dairy farm and my sister and I had to bring in the cows every night to milk. We were 8 and 9 years old. At times we walked a mile or more to bring them in. We had electric milkers.
I too would be nervous if my child was riding on a dirt bike. But moms are good at worrying about our kids. Dexter is such a cutie. Tim is even cuter on the tractor and looking quite proud of himself.
Have a happy bright sunny day. Winter will be here any day now.
Hugs, Jeanne
