'Tis the Season

I confess. I've already started playing Christmas carols. I really enjoy Christmas music. I have a Christmas CD in my car, in my classroom, another here in my computer room and one in my kitchen CD player. I even confess that this past summer I put a Christmas CD in while I was cleaning the house :)

This past weekend Tim and I watched National Lampoon's Christmas vacation. I might even put another one in this weekend to watch!

I've got another LONG day at school today. After school we have a staff meeting and then I need to stay for a while to get ready for conferences next week. I have also been invited to a surprise birthday party for a former co-worker after school. I expect that I will be getting home rather late this evening.

I was chatting with some of my co-workers recently. We have all been teaching for a very long time and each of us feels like this year we have been on a treadmill. It is non stop and there is always things to do. I am looking forward to our Thanksgiving break!!!

take care,
Dawn

I smiled that you are already listening to Christmas music. I knew you would be. I love it, too.

Take care of yourself. Things are beyond crazy here, too.

I am ready for Christmas music! We just came home from Disney and they are all decorated and playing Christmas music! Love it! Today, I went to the mailbox and my neighbor was blasting Christmas music from his garage! It's time! WooHoo!

Ok, now you started something. I'm going to listen to Christmas music today and maybe it will help me start getting in the spirit of the upcoming holidays. I need something to motivate me since it is like 85 outside.

Hi Dawn, we are home and I just told Bill to get our Christmas music out. It really jump starts my day. Music just puts a hop in my step.

I have started to decorate but not as much as usual because we will be in Florida for Christmas. Plus the puppy is into everything. A rascal but we adore her. A dog is a true blessing. It softens our hearts in so many ways.

Gotta get busy and fix Bill's breakfast. have a happy day at school.

Love ya, Jeanne

You have changed your background and header since I last visited! Looks great! I imagine now that Thanksgiving break is over, you are now looking forward to the Christmas break. That is what I so miss about working for the school district. That extra time off that I don't get now. Actually today is Saturday and I have to go to work today too. Argh!
