This week's picture is Tim's second Halloween in 1999. He had just turned one the month before. This little cow suit was actually an outfit he was given. If you pushed on the cow's mouth it would "moo". I sat him out in the front yard in front of our fall display and took this picture. It is my all time favorite Halloween picture of him.
Rich an I put Timmy in his wagon with pillows to keep him comfy and covered him in blankets. We went to several of our neighbors who filled his little pumpkin with goodies . One of our neighbors would give him an additional pumpkin that they had filled for him. They did that every year. Sadly, last year they both passed away. Tim was heart broken because he had grown so fond of them. Last Halloween was hard for Tim. Walking by their dark house was a reminder that they were no longer with us. Now, they remain a pleasant memory and we smile looking at their home remembering how friendly they were.
My apologies to my blogging friends for not visiting yesterday. I was at school from 6:30 yesterday morning until 7:30 last night. It was a LONG day.
take care,
Dawn

This is a sweet picture Dawn. I have a similar one of my older daughter dressed as a ghost for her very first Halloween. She was five months old. It's one of my very favorite pictures too.
Hope your can use the weekend to catch up from your super busy day the other day!
Goodness, girl. You will definitely be ready for the weekend.
Look at little Timmy. Is he the cutest thing, or what?!!!
Tim was a cutie then and he's handsome now.
Unless a person has been in a classroom, there is no way he/she can understand WHAT takes so long. I do. It's a tough job.
Dawn, Tim is so adorable in that costume. I adore the photos I have of my grandkids in their costumes over the years. I think I will post them next Friday.
I knew you had to be very busy not to visit. Poor thing, what a long day at work. Now the weekend ahead. Glorious thought but bad weather here.
Enjoy yours...Love, Jeanne
Such a cute picture of your son. I sometimes like to look over the pictures of my kids when they were little. It brings back memories of when they were growing up. Have a wonderful weekend.
How sweet, I can hardly wait for Halloween, I love seeing all the cute costumes. For years, even as an adult, I dressed up. Unfortunately, I just haven't been able to lately, maybe some day I'll get back into the swing.
Don't worry about not visiting Dawn.....we all know "real" life comes before our bloggy life!!!
Tim was sooooo CUTE as a cow!!! ADORABLE!
Hi Dawn, I just gave you an award, check my blog for the details.
hugs,
Judy

Good morning Dawn. Are you sleeping in today or are you off to a fall festival or something today. I came over to comment because I thought I missed you yesterday. I must be losing it!!! There I was right at the top. Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

He's sooo cute!!!
Rest up this weekend! :-)

I love that picture, too! It reminded me of one I have of my daughter at the same age except she was dressed as a Dalmatian puppy. :-)
What a bittersweet post.
That photo is beyond darling, Dawn! Sooooo cute! Is it just me, or is there a resemblance between Tim in that photo and Mackenzie?
Hi Dawn, oh, what a precious picture of Tim. He was a little doll - well, a precious little cow! LOl
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh look! What a sweet little cow. That is just precious. I'm happy you and he have such wonderful and happy memories of such a special couple. My godfather used to leave me a basket for Easter no matter how old I got. He passed a few years ago and my baskets stopped too, but it's so nice to remember. My godmother also does this and thankfully she is still with me.
Oh, Dawn that photo of Tim is sooo cute...too, too precious!! :o) Hope you had the weekend to rest and relax after a busy week! ((HUGS))
Hi Dawn, Is everything alright or are you taking a well deserved break from posting. Thinking of you today.
Love...Jeanne
