Glitter, Glitter Pumpkin

Both of these pumpkins are new pumpkins for me this year. Can you guess which one I absolutely love??? The one on the left I bought at Marshall's this year. The one on the right was made by my sweet granddaughter, Mackenzie!

Yes, you got it right. I just adore the pumpkin that Mackenzie made. Have you every seen anything more beautiful? I wish this pumpkin would last year after year, but alas I will have to keep the photo as a memento.

The pumpkin reminds me of a poem I teach my kindergarten students.
Glitter, Glitter pumpkin
Sitting on a stumpkin
Scary, scary pumpkin
Thump! Thump!
THUMPKIN!!!!

Speaking of pumpkins, the kindergarten is headed out to a field trip to a pumpkin patch today. We got rained out last week. Let's hope for dry weather!

take care,
Dawn

Dawn, that question is a given. The one MacKenzie gave you is your favorite and will always be # 1. I hope your pumpkin patch visit will be a success. It is still cold here.

Thanks for your sweet comments about my Molly Rose. I so adore my grandchildren. We all do don't we?

Hugs...Jeanne

I love your special pumpkin made by a very beautiful and sweet girl.

Boo! Boo! Boo!
I'm a jack-o-lantern
Out to scare you.

I have teeth that do not bite
And in my head a candle bright.

Boo! Boo! Boo!

Have fun today.

Oh Dawn that little pumpkin McKenzie made is sooo beautiful. Its real though right so you won't be able to keep it forever but your pictures will last forever. Very precious.
I like the one on the left too though...great for a Halloween collection.
Have a great day

Mackenzie is a treasure, that's for sure. I do like the big pumpkin, though, but then, she's not my granddaughter, and she didn't make that other one for me. Take pictures today!

Enjoy that special pumpkin while it lasts! Some of my greatest treasures are things my children made me when they were small--they're pricless to me!

Hope you had a good trip to the pumpkin patch!

I love both pumpkins. You are so lucky to have your granddaughter close to you. Mine is in Florida and I am in Caifornia. Don't think we could get any further apart.

Oh Dawn, Kindergarteners and a pumpkin patch...I am so jealous. Such a great age to teach, and your blog gets cuter every time I drop by. Glitter, don't you just love it, especially on pumpkins I think. Karen
