Pumpkin treats

I've seen all of the wonderful fall creations out there in blog land. They are all so well made and classy. It got me thinking, what I have. I realize that I don't have the same caliber as many but I did find this.
Years ago I used to watch Aileen's Crafts. It was one of my favorite shows. I remember once they made these cute pumpkins with clay pots and saucers. I tried my hand at it. Painting is not my forte but this was fun to do. I put Styrofoam in this pot and added Tootsie Pops to it.

I've made others that I've given away. I did keep one for myself.

Please stop by Darlene's blog Darelen's Days and enter her giveaway in celebration of her 100th post!!!

take care,
Dawn

Ahh, good old Aileens. I made those, too. But I haven't even dug out my Halloween stuff this year...how sad is that?!!

I remember Aileens too. That's a neat craft and one that would be fun to do with children.

Dawn, that is the cutest thing. You have been holding back. I think I could even do that. A cute gift for kids. Mmmmmm. I am going to Jacksonville for Halloween and I will stay with my daughter. Bill will be going to the Gator game. I don't think I am ready for climbing up a stadium yet. I'll stay home with my grandsons. We could do a craft. Thanks Dawn. Have a great school day.

Dawn, this is so cute. May I have a cherry tootsie roll pop?

Of course, I'm not surprised because I know your many talents.

I remember Aileen!
That pot is very cute. I'm trying to be a bit more crafty, but I tell ya', it's tough.
Hope you're having a great day! It's a warm one here.

What a cute idea! I have never seen that crafty idea. I will have to remember that. I better start to write these ideas down or I will have too many to remember.

Hi Dawn
This is TOO cute. I love it. I am going to make one of those for sure because I like to have some candies by my desk. This will be so much fun during Hallowe'en. I just love the idea...
If I do get a chance to copycat yours I'll let you know.

Have a great day.

I noticed your comment on Nora Roberts. If you have enjoyed her movies (which I've never seen I don't think) you would enjoy her books.
Try her trillogies..sets of 3 books like "Key of Knowledge" is a book from one of them. It was a great one.

Another book in a trilogy was "Black Dahlia" I think I got the colour right. Then there are 2 other flower named books. Loved them.

bye for now

Whatever happened to that show? I used to love it, too! I think your pot is adorable! :-) I wish I had more time for crafting like I used to.

Hi Dawn. I'm back just to say hello. I had all kinds of trouble posting today. I didn't finish until 11:00 am. Dana said she did too. I also had a hard time getting comments to go through. Plus typepad lists several comments that never posted on my comment section. weird day.
