Happy New Year to all of my blogging friends!!!! I hope this year brings you all the happiness your heart can hold, good health, and wonderful memories in the making!
I look forward to visiting each of you in this coming year. I enjoy getting to know all of you and consider you all my friends!
How did you spend your New Year's Eve? We always stay home. This year it was a good thing because all day yesterday it snowed!!! To celebrate we each pick our favorite "junk food" and enjoy snacking all night. I made a pot of meatballs so we could have meat ball subs. Tim picked Cheetos and nachos. Rich picked pepperoni and cheese and ham and cream cheese roll ups. I picked cool ranch Doritos. Tim and Rich usually watch the Three Stooges marathon. I just don't enjoy that show. It always amazing me listening to the two of them laughing! I like watching the Twilight Zone marathon.
Today I will make our traditional New Year's Day turkey dinner...think Thanksgiving here :)
Remember to post to get your name in the drawing for my giveaway in honor of my 400th post!
take care,
Dawn

Happy New Year to you and your family.
I don't like The Three Stooges, either. Well, to be honest, I don't like the Twilight Zone, either. I'll come over, but can we watch something else? ;-)
No gobble here. Oink here!
Happy New Year's Dawn! We went out with a group of friends to a Pops concert put on by our local symphony and then back to one house for a late night breakfast to welcome the New Year in. We've gone out with the same group for years on New Years and always have a good time together.
Happy New Year to you too! I was in bed by 9 last night. I was just too tired. Work does that to you. Or to me rather. Probably to you too. LOL! So I missed out on ringing in the new year. Also my legs were hurting and very jumping. I am wondering if I have that restless leg syndrome thing. I go to to doctor next Monday about the pain and swelling in my legs. Hope I get answers and solutions for relief. I am up early because I was in bed early. Oh well. We will be going to an Open House later today. I am taking an appetizer along. It will be fun to celebrate the new year with friends from church.
There's nothing glamorous about what I did; I've got a miserable cold, so I stayed home and felt sorry for myself. : -(
I thought that black-eyed peas and cornbread was the meal for New Year's Day. Turkey sounds like a lot of work. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year. I was asleep before the new year...lol
Happy New Years Day! Dawn I am doing a turkey today too. I also fix blackeyed peas for good luck. I didn't know we were supposed to eat those peas for good luck either. Beverly told me I 'had' to eat them. So we eat them with turkey. lol. I try to listen when Beverly speaks!!! smiling. I don't think she knows this but I am a Yankee born in MI and bred in Miami, Fl. LOL.
Your post is so sweet today. Wow! 400 posts. Congrats. Dawn.
Blessings...Jeanne
OK let me try this again. I left a post but it went off into cyber space somewhere....
I agree. Please post us some pictures of "Snow On The Cape". Darrlaa
It sounds like you had a cozy New Year's Eve! To answer your question, I am presenting two sessions at our state conference. The first one is with a teacher friend and we are sharing all the different ways we have incorporated digital photography into our classroom and use real photos (versus clip art) for educational purposes. The second session I am doing by myself which is how I've used programs like Photoshop for all kinds of learning purposes such a learning centers, turning the kids into, say a scarecrow or something to go with our themes to make classroom books, pocket chart ideas, etc. I am working on a slideshow as part of the presentation and maybe I can email it to you if you are interested. :-)
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Hi Dawn, Right back you! Wishing you many blessings in the coming New Year! Sounds like a great way to spend the New Year's! We are at home, too. Having a big blow-out day before we start our diets Monday, and watching the 48 hours Marathon! LOL!
Congrats on your 400th post! That is amazing! ~Hugs, Rhonda :)
PS...I love your neck warmers! I've never seen those! Very cute! You ought to consider opening an etsy shop! :)
We had wonderful NYEve. Spent with friends, eating and watching another neighbor's fireworks show at midnight. Very nice. Happy New Year!
