A Day Fishing

On Sunday Rich and Tim were invited by our neighbor to go out fishing on his boat. Rich and Tim have been doing a lot of fishing lately and were thrilled to go out on the boat with D. They had the alarm set for 5 in the morning to begin their adventure!

When they got home at 11 that morning Tim had all the exciting news to tell me. One of the biggest thrills for him was that he got to drive the boat. Rich takes Tim out on his boat (a small little 14ft aluminum boat that is much smaller than D's. My one rule is that Tim is to have a life jacket on at ALL TIMES! It looks like he was following the rules.

I asked if they caught anything and Tim said that he and dad caught a bass but it was mostly him that caught it. All dad did was throw the line into the water. Tim reeled the fish in. I think it was hard for him to give Rich any credit LOL!

I enjoyed waking up Sunday morning and having the morning to myself. It was rather pleasant. I was also pleased to hear D tell me how very polite, and appreciative Tim was. That's my boy!
He and Rich walked down to his house the other day to give him some lures as a thank you! I am very glad that both my boys had a good time.
take care,
Dawn

It definitely looks like your fellas had themselves a good time! And how nice for Mom to get a few hours of relaxing by herself in!

Dawn, I can't believe the size of that fish.. I love Tim's story about who caught the fish. Your Tim is just adorable. And the bonus of a morning to yourself. Oh yeah!

I am down with the flu and this is the first time on my computer since Tuesday. Sorry I missed your post yesterday.

Take care,

Jeanne

That fish is huge! What a great way for father and son to spend time together. My son in law is a big fisherman, and is planning on turning my little grandsons into fisherman too!
Have a great day!
