Pink Saturday #7 aka I LOVE LUCY!

I Love Lucy and she loves me,
We're as happy as two can be,
sometimes we quarrel but then again
How we love making up again.

And I do love Lucy. I can watch this show over and over and over again. As a matter of fact I do. I bought the entire series on DVD so I can watch whenever I want!!! I have quite a collection of Lucy collectibles. Britt has bought just about everything I have as gifts for me. She looks at them as her inheritance one day. I am going to share a few for Pink Saturday with you. This is all the pink Lucy memorabilia that I have. I took the pictures outside. It was so bright that the pink is kind of washed out. Sorry about that!

This mug is just too nice to use. I certainly wouldn't stain it with coffee!

This is a salt and pepper shaker. Again, too precious to be used.

Here are two of the dolls in their pink outfits.
This is a checker board game. The pieces inside are pink and red heart shaped.

This address book I could not bring myself to write in!!

This tin (which is pink by the way) keeps all my knitting tools safe and ready at hand for me. This I do use!

For more Pink Saturday blogs visit Beverly, our hostess, at How Sweet the Sound.
take care,

I Love Lucy was a great show wasn't it? They just don't make shows like that anymore. Somewhere around here my son has her shows on VHS!

I love your collection. I would drink out of that coffee cup every day!

I am a huge Lucy fan! I have been in her hometown...My favorite episode is the one where Lucy and her friend work at the chocolate factory...They ate so many bonbons!!! Hysterical!!!

Happy Pink Saturday!

I Love Lucy, too! The show about the Candy Line is one of my all time favorites---that and when she's doing a commericial for the "tonic" and gets a bit tipsy cuz they had to tape it so many times and the tonic contained a wee touch of alcohol!

What a nice Lucy collection! Hope your day is full of Fun Pink!

Hi Dawn, my sweet lucy chick! I never knew there was a "Lucy" collection! That's really neat since she was my favorite start in the "old days" and I watched her religiously. Son is adorable and I love reading your blog, cute cherub.

What a great collection! Do you have the Franklin Mint vinyl Lucy doll? She is amazing and you can buy her outfits. Check ebay if you don't have her! She's about 16 inches tall.
I also adore the pics of Lucille before the Lucy show. A truly glamorous Hollywood star.
