This is a picture of my sister and I a long time ago. I think I was about 4 or 5 and she was a year younger. I remember very clearly the day this was taken. We lived in a small cottage and my mother had a photographer come to the house. He set up an ironing board and covered it with a cloth. I think it might have been a sheet. I remember him placing our arms just so on the ironing board. What strikes me most about this picture is that more than 40 years later my sister and my personalities haven't changed a bit! I am still the one always smiling and she isn't! I popped the picture in a quick page that I downloaded from Pam Lefors Designs. Now this post serves a double fold purpose. I have my blog post for today and another page to print for a scrapbook. Life is good!
take care,
Dawn

My, we are up early today. I want to go back to bed. The photo of you and your sister is a classic. I think you are both so cute. I do believe personalities are there from the start. In my family, I am the one who smiles the most. I have the laugh lines to prove it! Smile! See I'm doing it now.
Love ya, Jeanne
Dawn, the picture is so cute!
I think personalities are set early in life...I'm seeing it with my own grandsons!
Here's an idea for a future post...how about a tutorial on digital scrapbooking! I have tons of scrapbook stuff, but digital looks so much easier!
You grinner, you. That is so cute. Did you sing to the photographer? Or is that something you do only for the UPS man?
And, yuck!!!! No, that line didn't come from Out Of Africa. I do remember that line from another movie - one I didn't like.
How sweet, Dawn. Yes, I can tell you're a smiler...I am too. I love life and I'll always be laughing at it.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

Oh bless her heart in that portrait. Wonder what made her sad all those years ago?
I also remember having a photographer come to our house when I was a kid and take mine and my brother's portraits.
I was going to say the exact same thing Debi said. PRICELESS!!
How does that frame thing work? I love that.
Aww, what a sweet picture. Love how you have it displayed. I wonder what lil sis was so sad about...
Cute photo. Do you remember what she was upset about? xoxo, Joanna
