In the bag!!!

For weeks now Brittainy has been asking me when she could have the market bag I made her. I kept telling her that she needed to wait until I had a picture of the bag. Well, I finally got around to taking the picture and brought her the bag on Monday. She'd better use it now!

Yesterday I finished the bag I was making for my friend Beverly. She said that she didn't mind the two tones. I hope she means it because this is the bag I plan on mailing to her :) I've now made six of these bags. I think I'm done for a while.

Last night was knitting and I started the sweater for Mackenzie's pirate hippo that I am making for her. Britt said that Mackenzie will be having a pirate birthday party (in September) so I will save the hippo for her birthday gift.

A computer update: The service technician was here yesterday morning. He replaced the power source of my computer. Hopefully that will have solved the problem. My printer doesn't seem to be working so when I am up to it I will have to uninstall and then reinstall it. I'll be glad when it is all back to proper working condition. It's so much nicer seeing this nice big print compared to the tiny print of my laptop. My old eyes are much happier. :)

take care,
Dawn

Ooh, I'm so excited. Tell Brittainy that I am glad she got a bag, too. I just don't know why she didn't want pink. ;-) But, she can't have mine.

I love it. You're so sweet. And modest.

Dawn, your bags are fun and useful, how good is that! I never learned to do knitting or needle work in general. I still have to visit Brittney's blog, and Tim's too. Busy has been my days lately. I admit to running the roads with my daughter a lot. I love that and she goes home on Sunday. sigh!

Take care, Jeanne

How cute your bags are and the pink one does not look bad with two different pinks. I am sure you friend will love it because you made it with love and that is the best gift of all. Have a great weekend.
