Pink Saturday #5

It is PINK SATURDAY. My friend Beverly of How Sweet The Sound is again hosting a PINK SATURDAY . Check out her blog and visit all the PINK posts today.

Last weekend I took my niece and son to a church carnival. It was a small carnival but I noticed across the parking lot a small craft fair. While the kids were on the carnival side I slipped over to take a look at the craft fair. As I was going from booth to booth I noticed a booth of pottery. I looked up and noticed that the person running the booth was the teacher across the hall from me! What a surprise! I noticed this pink bowl right away and bought it! It is quite lovely. It might be hard to tell from the picture but right inside the bowl on the left is a little blue heart! I just have to figure out what I am going to use it for now. I made this layout using a Misty Cato template and a kit called Pink Coffee Cream from Vicki's blog A Work in Progress.

Of course we could not leave without bringing home some cotton candy...some lovely pink cotton candy!

take care,
Dawn

You're right, I love your pink heart-shaped bowl. Maybe you need to fill it with pink candy.

And, your cotton candy looks so soft and pink and yummy.

Keep pink in your life.

Dawn, I have a set of heart shaped pottery bowls and I adore them. Your pink bowls are wonderful. What a great find. We are both in the same boat about what to do with them. I just display them. I want some of that pink cotton candy now. Smile!

Have a wonderful day and isn't it grand that Saturday is just the same as all the days of the week? At least for the summer.

Love ya, Jeanne

I can't think of a better treat than eating Pink cotton candy! The bowl your co-worker made is just lovely and I really like the layout you used it in--you are very talented. Your 4th post was enjoyable, too. Our 4ths are busy during the day with a parade and big picnic, but then it is back home for a late snooze and sitting on the front veranda listening to the booms, smelling spent fireworks, and seeing an ocassional display in the sky. Happy Pink Saturday!

I really like the bowl...and love your layout.
I did mine from Smilebox...that is where I got my header too.
I haven't gotten too much into digital scrapbooking, but it sure is fun!
Do you ever print the digital layouts? I noticed quite a few layouts on your side bar.

A very pretty bowl and I do believe I see a very tiny heart in it! ...and the cotton candy - oh! my mouth is watering!

I love when we all come together to post on a specific topic such as Pink Saturday, so I'm trying to get bloggers together to post their favorite family photo on Fridays. Won't you join me? You could post a current picture or something from the past. I just posted my first Friday's Favorite Family Foto yesterday.

Email me before each Friday to let me know if you would like to participate. I will post your link and invite others to visit your post.

Love your new bowl, Dawn. I think almost anything you used it for would be beautiful. I have a handmade pottery heart bowl and for the past 2o years it's been my dog's water bowl! First my sheltie, Molly and after she died it was like my reminder of her and then 3 yrs later when I finally got my sheltie Lilly we brought it back out. Pink Saturdays sure bring out the memories! Hugs, Nancy

Good Morning Lady! love the bowl. Craft fairs are a passion of mine since I have worked them for about 30 years. I have found so many amazing things in my travels. I also love the song you are playing. Have a great day.

Hi Dawn, thank you so much for stopping by. I love your pink pottery bowl. Sounds like you and your neice had a fun day! Pink cotton candy yummy!!! That's great that you can knit. I had learned to knit when I was 7 but have not picked it up again since then. I do a little crochet but mostly embroidery & cross stitch. Your bags that you are making are just beautiful!
See ya next week.
