A few years ago I was searching through some old photos and found this one of my parents. It's hard to picture your parents so young and so in love! My parents were married just about 6 years before I was born and then a year later my sister was born. Unfortunately their marriage didn't last and when I was four years old they were divorced. I saw my father often. One summer when I was 10 my sister and I spent the summer with my father. He had remarried (as had my mother). My father married a woman with 6 children and they had one more. It certainly was a big family!! My father and mother both lived in the same town most of my life and I think they got along well...though I don't think they would have told me otherwise!
take care,
Dawn

Dawn, that picture was a great find, and so appropriate for the hot summertime. Look at your mom's fifties bathing suit, You gotta love it. I would love to have a romantic photo of my parents. I wonder who took it. Great photo to share.

Hi Dawn,
I thought I left you a comment earlier...guess I didn't hit the right button.

Lovely picture!
It always strikes me (in a good way) when I stop to think that before I ever knew my grandparents, before they had children of their own, they were "just two people in love". It makes me smile. =)
