The Mustang Game

If you are about my age you might recall the punch buggy game. If you saw a VW bug you would yell out punch buggy and then as the name would suggest, you punch the person next to you. It's probably not a good thing to do come to think of it, but what a great excuse to punch play with your younger sister LOL!

Tim had made up his own automobile game. It started because he starting noticing Mustangs. He began keeping count of all of the Mustangs he saw. As he was noticing the number of cars his count grow he started "altering" the game a bit. If I were to come home and say that I saw a Mustang today, he would add it to his count! Then it progressed from there. He went to a local department store and saw a toy Mustang. Yup, those count now too! He saw a picture with a Mustang. Those count too. He saw a Mustang on a TV show. It counts. I suggested he take into consideration any actual Mustang horses. He didn't think I was funny!!!

Yesterday he and Rich went to see an antique car parade and he said he counted 13 in the parade alone. He is up to 319.

I wonder how long he will keep this game going.

take care,
Dawn

I think Timmy can count very high, and you just may need to start counting your dollars. I do believe there many be a Mustang in his future.

Hi Dawn,
sounds like Tim is going to buy a Mustang one day. It is so good that he and his dad spend time together like that.

My husband had a 1968 Mustang, and when we got married he sold it to buy an Oldsmobile. Needless to say, we were young and stupid! LOL

Dawn, your guys aren't the only ones to love a Mustang car. Our daughter at 19 owned one and loved it. So did our mechanic. It was a mechanical problem and she finally sold it. Good riddance! A parent's point of view. Smile. Keep us posted on the Mustang game. I don't remember 'punch buggy', guess I am too old. Smile. We called them 'bugs'.

Love, Jeanne
