The Purple Dragon

This week I made this dragon scarf for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves all the things you would typically think of as something a boy would like. That's my girl!! This dragon was easy to knit. If you are interested you can find the pattern here. While it was easy the time consuming part was making and sewing all of the pieces together!!!
At some point I am going to make a green one for Jack, but not now. I want a break from the dragon. I think I will make a hat and scarf (one piece) for Jack first. Maybe he'll get his dragon when he is a little older.
There you have it. One Christmas present completed.
I am off to school early this morning for an all day workshop. I know I'm going to be tired when I get home. I'm too used to being lazy this summer.
take care,
Dawn

Hi, Dawn! LOVE the dragon scarf! I will hang on to the pattern link and make this for my nephew next year for Christmas--I think he's too small for this now, unless I can scale it down. Very cute!! Hope your workshop today goes well and enjoyable. The summer swan song begins... ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

Dawn, the dragon scarf is so cute. It looks easy, but not for me. I do like to make Christmas gifts too. It usually involves sewing.

Love, Jeanne

Cute idea. It's girlie because of the color.

Ugh. Workshops. I used to hope that I'd get ONE good idea to use so that the day was not wasted, but I was always drawn to my classroom, where there was so much to be done.
