WOW did it snow. I was anticipating about 4" last night. By the time I went to bed there was already 8" and the snow was just beginning to wind down! I left school just a few minutes early yesterday because it was snowing pretty heavily. The drive home was a bit slippery. Our driveway is a HILL and I couldn't get my car up to my normal parking spot. I parked the car in the road (dead end street) and proceeded to shovel. It was so slippery I that I fell and landed on my backside, but I was able shovel enough snow to drive up and park! I am sore today :) It was actually very pretty yesterday afternoon and I took a few pictures. These were taken about 3" into the storm. What a beautiful gift from Mother Nature.
What awesome photos Dawn. I would love to be looking out your window too and then I would love to go our and play in it as well. After I got down laughing at you on your backside of course. Did you bother to make a snow angel while you were done there? Ü
hi Dawn. i linked here from Marianne's blog & had to say hello. *had* to because my name is Dawn & the screenname i use 95% of the time is daybreak1012! =)
those photos are beautiful. almost makes me miss winters in New England (spent my first 25 years living in CT!). almost miss it since right now it is 64* here in FL at 8:40am & going up to about 80 with no humidity & a gorgeous breeze laced with the scent of orange blossoms. yum.

Beautiful pictures Dawn!
Unbelievably gorgeous pictures. I wish I could be there looking out the window at all of that beauty.
But notice that I said looking out the window. I don't want to be cold.
