Tuesday's Thoughts

This morning my grandson Jack is having some minor surgery. He is tongue tied and needs to have that connective tissue under his tongue snipped. The whole procedure should take about a minute. Brittainy is naturally very concerned about the anesthesia. That will involve a substantial amount of time. Some positive thoughts sent their way would be greatly appreciated!

From Beverly's Blog. I'm breaking the rules too! If you haven't done this one yet feel free to take it upon yourself to add on your blog :) :)

a) What was I doing 10 years ago?

Ten years ago I was waiting for the birth of my second child. (He'll be 10 in September). I had a few complications in my pregnancy and spent the summer going for ultra sounds and non-stress tests. I was also a bit nervous about having another child since my other was just about 18 years old by then.

b) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today:

1. anxiously await the phone call from Britt to tell me how Jack's surgery went!
2. file the papers on my desk
3. pack some more school boxes. (only 2 days left!)
4. finish Tim's teacher gift
5. iron

c) Snacks I enjoy:

Nachos
fruit
crackers and cheese

d) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

Make sure all of my family was provided for
Build the house of my dreams
Hire a maid :)

e) Places I have lived:

Cape Cod
Maryland
take care,
Dawn

Dawn, I said a prayers for your little Jack - and for Brittainy, too. I know he will be fine. I'll call you tonight to check on him.

(Copycat) ;-)

Your little grandson is in my thoughts and prayers. He reminds me of our little guy...he has a seat just like the one in your pic.

Dawn, my prayers go out for Jack. He is so little to go through surgery. However, they say mouth surgery is not so painful and heals fast. I hope so, for little jack's sake.

I enjoyed your meme. It is kind of a pain to do those, but most of us enjoy knowing more about our blogging friends. I have never been to Cape Cod. One day.

Take care, jeanne

Nothing but loads of good thoughts coming Jack's way! With some extra thrown in for Mom and Grandma, too! Let us know how it went, okay?
