Jack's procedure went well. I know
Brittainy was relieved to have it over with. Thank you all for your good thoughts! Hopefully I'll get to see him this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, (I hope I'm not going to jinx it by spilling the beans) Rich and Tim might go camping. Imagine my joy at the thought of my first weekend of summer vacation alone. I'm almost giddy with anticipation. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing stands in the way. :)
Today is the last full day of school. I am planning on being there until about 8 tonight. Can you believe that our last full day of school includes a faculty meeting. I am going to be dog tired!!!!! I have to get my room packed up for the summer. Sometimes I think the older grades have it so much easier to just pack up books and such (the kids can even help!) Do you know how much STUFF there is in a kindergarten room. I think last year I filled about 16 big totes with stuff! Then, I have to unpack it all at the end of the summer. I want it almost all done so all I will need to do tomorrow when the kids leave is to cover the shelves and boards with sheets!
Be thinking of me today as I work my little fingers to the bones. It will definitely be an ice coffee kind of afternoon today!
take care,
Dawn

Great news about little Jack. He's a trooper.
I will be thinking about you and your bony fingers.
And, I am really glad you have an entire summer of vacation,
but ... what about me?! ;-(
Hurrah, the last day of school and you could say a punishment. what a huge job to pack your room. Only you would have 16 totes of stuff. It is because you are a teacher who is inspired to give your children the best year of learning they could possibly have.
Thank heaven little Jack is doing well. God bless him to have to suffer at his age. It will be bettr for him though.
Thinking of you today sweet Dawn, Jeanne
Yea! Last day of school! I know you are excited! Jack is just precious! Glad the procedure went well! And here I thought tongue tied was just a figure of speech! LOL! ...highlighted blonded moment! LOL!
hugs, Rhonda ;)
So glad everything went well with your grandson. I hope you have a great day...and get some well deserved rest!
I'm so glad Jack came through with flying colors! And I hope that will make nursing easier on both him and his mama.
Wow...I don't know how you can stand it...you're almost there!!!! (Our kids aren't done until next week.) And my fingers and toes will be crossed for you...a nice weekend alone sounds heavenly!
