I did it!

Yes, I know this will win no design contests or even be considered a WOW layout, but....and it's a big but for me... I made the background myself. I guess it was really by myself. I went to the Jessica Sprague 's blog and used her Photoshop Friday tutorial and created the background myself. I was so excited that I figured out how to make a brush and then actually use it, that I forgot to touch up my photos! I wonder if I'll ever really get the hang and comfortable feeling of digi scrapping! I will admit that the clean up is a breeze!

take care,
Dawn

Dawn, this is absolutely exquisite. The colors are so rich. I am major impressed.

And, the flowers are glorious.

I still haven't tried. I am chicken.

woohoo for you braving the world of digital! very nice job. you wouldn't even know it was a first attempt!

i have to admit that digital feels too much like work to me--i have to design posters & newsletters & manuals as part of my job. and i had another job where i had to design posters & flyers & event tickets. we did all this in graphics programs. so (short story long) it feels like work to me i guess. plus i don't even own any version of Photoshop. (how many scrappers' jaws just hit the floor reading THAT?? LOL) i guess i will just live with my messy version...

Fantastic job, Dawn!!!

I've never entered that digi-scrapping world myself. Am always amazed by what people do digitally, beautiful stuff. But as techno-phobic as I am, I think I'd better just stick with my paper and exacto knife.

Oh wow, this is beautiful! Great job, girl! I'm with the others, still having fun with my paper and Hermafix and don't plan on venturing into the techno-world anytime soon. At least not until I've scrapped all the hard copy photos I already have. :)
