Some Christmas knitting and my giveaway!

I was busy these past few months knitting some Christmas gifts. This past fall I made a market bag for my sister Sam. She showed her mother the bag and told me she liked it so I made this for my stepmother for Christmas. I've lost count on how many market bags I've made.

I made this neck warmer for my long time friend Cheryl. I still haven't given it to her. I guess I'd better go make a phone call :)

I made this one for my friend Cathy (who also works in my classroom with me). I know she loves this color just as much as I love her!!!

This is for my friend Kathleen that also knits (very well I might add!). I made this to thank her for helping out in my classroom. She's been helping me for the last four years!! Kathleen is a true friend!!!

This was made for Tim's teacher. Like me, she has recess duty and it can get COLD out there!

This set was for my dear friend Ingrid. On Christmas eve, eve I noticed a mistake and had to rip out almost one entire mitten and start over again. I finished by lunch time on Christmas Eve and brought it over to her.

This is my GIVE AWAY. This neck warmer and mittens can be yours just for posting a comment. I will pick the winner on Saturday and let you know by Sunday who the winner was. Every comment from today through Saturday at noon (eastern time) will be entered into the drawing.

Here's a close up of the neck warmer:

and the mittens.

Good luck!!!

take care,
Dawn

Hi Dawn! I've never seen a neck warmer, but I sure do like it! I hate to wear a coat but I like to be warm (how weird is that?) and teal is my favorite color. Love your blog....

I'm so impressed with all you've accomplished in the last several months. Those needles must be clickin' day and night. I really appreciated your help with the marketbags. I did manage to get a couple finished. If it weren't for your help I'd probably still be just cogitating about 'em.

Wishing a joyous 2009!

Hi Dawn, I want a cookie. Oh, I forgot I have tons of them. Smile. We have been running the roads all day with our daughter and grands. We checked a huge campground about 60 miles from here for our summer camping trip. It was real nice. We need to get several family opinions though.

I love, love, love, the knitted things you made. I adore the collar and mittens. Put me in for the draw. I feel some Karma coming on now. LOL.

Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy New Year. I hope good things for you all, in 2009.

Blessings and love...Jeanne

DAWN, I am screaming and so thrilled with my new banner. When did you do that? Did I not notice when I just visited you? LOL. I am losing it maybe. Please write back and tell me when you fixed my banner. I am in your debt Dawn. Big time. Thank you from the bottom and the top of my heart. Smiling so BIG, my face is in peril from cracking in this dry cold weather.

Love you forever...Jeane
